Fixed and Adjustable High Power Wave-Shaped and Coiled Resistors!
Wire-wound resistors are made by winding nickel-chromium or manganin or constantan wire on a ceramic tube, and they come in fixed and adjustable types. The feature of wire-wound resistors is that their resistance accuracy is extremely high, the noise is small and stable during operation, and they can withstand high temperatures.
It can still function normally at an ambient temperature of 170°C. However, it has a large size and low resistance value, typically below 100KΩ. Additionally, due to structural reasons, its distributed capacitance and inductive coefficient are relatively large, and it cannot be used in high-frequency circuits.
This type of resistor is usually used in high-power circuits for voltage regulation or load applications.
Characteristics:?The enameled wire wound resistors are coated with a high flame-retardant and heat-resistant inorganic paint layer, effectively protecting the resistance wire from oxidation and extending its service life. They are also easy to dissipate heat.
*Applications: elevators, arc welding machines, cranes, construction machinery, rolling mills, drawing machines, centrifuges, load testing.
*Manufacturing: Wire-wound resistors are made by winding a resistance wire on an insulating bobbin. The resistance wire is usually made of an alloy of nickel-chromium or manganin with a certain resistance rate. The insulating bobbin is made of ceramic, metal coated with an insulating layer, or other materials in various shapes such as cylindrical and flat.
The resistance wire can be wound on the frame in one layer, multiple layers, or using a wire winding method without inductance, etc., according to the need.
Features:?The wire-wound fixed resistor is fixed by a clamp ring and has an axial leadout. The surface is coated with a high-temperature insulating paint, suitable for small currents and high resistance values. It has the following features: high power, strong overload resistance, reliable performance, and easy to use.
*Application: widely used for DC or AC load current reduction and distribution in various electrical and electronic equipment.
* Technical parameters of the resistor: Power range: 10W-10000W Resistance range: 1Ω-100KΩ Rated temperature rise: ≤375°C Voltage withstand between electrodes and mounting bracket: 3KV Protection rating: IP: 00 Resistance change within rated power ≤±3%
Short-term load capacity: 10 times the power for 6 seconds; Operating temperature: -55°C to +315°C
High-power wire-wound resistors include fixed wire-wound resistors, corrugated wire-wound resistors, and adjustable wire-wound resistors. They can be custom-made according to customer requirements, and a single resistor can have multiple values. They can be made without inductance and adjustable.
Applicable industries: welding machines, elevators, generators, audio equipment, variable-frequency drives, etc.
