The internal structure of the cement resistor is shown in Figure 1-7.Its innermost layer consists of a fiberglass core with resistance wire wrapped around it. The two terminal wires of the resistor are crimped together with the leads inside. The magnetic core, resistance wire and leads are housed in a white ceramic housing with horizontal grooves. The lower part of the housing has a rectangular packaging opening, which is sealed with insulating filler.

This structure gives cement resistors several outstanding characteristics:

1.Due to the use of industrial high-frequency electronic ceramic casing and mineral material packaging, the Cement Resistor has excellent insulation performance, the insulation resistance reaches more than 100M,good heat dissipation, and large power capacity.

2.The resistance wire is made of copper-nickel,manganese steel,nickel-plated and other alloy materials, and has good stability and overload capacity.

3.The resistance wire is tightly packed in the ceramic resistor body and has excellent flame retardant and explosion-proof properties.

4.The connection between the resistance wire and the lead is achieved by crimping. If a short circuit occurs during use, the crimp connection can quickly melt, providing circuit protection.
